A new organisation of local self-government includes comprehensive development of Varaždinske Toplice, particularly when it comes to the construction of tourist and tourist-medical accomodation, sport and social facilities.
For these reasons, on the mild slopes of the part of the town covered by woods, where the nature heals body and soul with its fresh air, and the views of the Toplice valley are wonderful, the construction of a high category hotel is expected, with facilites required for development of health tourism (e.g. dental medicine, plastic surgery etc.) using the already existing thermal water therapy resources which are within walking distance.
The existing preliminary design for which a location permit has been obtained (in the meantime it has expired) provides the information about the possibility of construction and future prospects.

Total net surface of the hotel is 4,330.07 m2.



The planned hotel is compatible with the existing Special hospital for rheumatic diseases and medical rehabilitation in close vicinity, which can confirm the extraordinary value of this destination.

The highway connecting Europe with the Adriatic Sea that is passing by Varaždinske Toplice, touching the suburbs of the Croatian capital Zagreb, brings this destination closer to the main centres of Europe within the distance of 60 to 400 km, which is currently very near and cost-effective.
